Rise and shout, the Mamma is out!  What a beautiful morning to be out for a run.  I am planning on running in the Utah Valley Marathon this June, so this is my first recorded run with that goal in mind.  Wa-hoo!  I am so excited for Spring!!!

The run was a little speedier today because I needed to get back to watch some neighbor cutie pies.  It was fun to pick it up a little and "think faster".  Why has it become so easy to live beneath my running potential?  I like the way faster feels!  After today the price for registration goes up for the Utah Valley Marathon, so I think I will use that $10 savings as an impetus to really commit.  Plus I love to commit to great things that lift my horizons.

What a gorgeous morning!  It was sad to see a freshly killed young deer on the side of the road, pools of bright red, well oxygenated blood not far from his fallen body.  Life is precious.

I remember volunteering at a blood drive and noticing the great variation in blood color from one donation to the next.  The blood taker pointed out how bright red my blood was because I was so active.  May we always have bright blood like the deer, to honor and enjoy the gift of life that we have been given.  Hope y'all have a beautiful day.
