I don't have words to describe the beauty!  The snow in the night had flocked every stem, every branch.  It was glorious.  Tracks in the snow from bikers and runners, except for one stretch where no one had gone.  Joy.  I need to pull out the scout book and see what cougar prints look like.  I hear there is one up here!

God loves us.  It is evident in the beauty of each new day.

It's getting cold!  Starting out at 4:30 p.m. the cold afternoon air stung my throat at first.  I left my headlight home, thinking I would just put in a short run since I was feeling tired, but after a friendly honk and wave, I felt the wind fill my sails and I did 8 on the mighty mountain.  I'm so glad I did.  In the dark a deer family crossed my path and a big owl too.

I'm going through a molasses divorce, but I am so grateful I can always count on running and the beauty of nature to soothe my soul.

I've been running, but not recording.  I did reach my goal to qualify for Boston, at least initially -- I  mean I made the first cutoff, but not the second.  After I qualified they just took the fastest of the qualifiers, and I missed that by 13 seconds.  That's okay.  It keeps me shooting for the stars.
